Dear CU Physics Community,
We wanted to reach out and let you know the Department of Physics leadership, faculty, and staff are all working remotely and are available to support you. We remain committed to supporting all students, staff, postdocs, and faculty in any way we can. Many updates and resources have been made available on the campus Coronavirus Updates page. Key changes to departmental operations are outlined on our physics website and will be updated as needed.
These past few weeks have brought many challenges for everyone. In a very short period of time, we have experienced a rapid shift to remote teaching, learning, work, and research. It has been remarkable how everyone has come together to do the best we can in these difficult circumstances. Keep in mind that all of us are being affected in various ways, and some much more than others. It is important to maintain compassion and understanding in all of our interactions.
We want to express our gratitude to the students, the staff, and the faculty for responding to this shifting crisis with grace, professionalism, and understanding. We encourage you to stay connected as much as possible – with friends, family, fellow peers, mentors, advisors, faculty, and staff members. If there is anything we can do to better support you as a member of this community, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
