Todd Gleeson, Dean of The University of Colorado College of Arts and Sciences, has named Physics Professor Chis Greene a 2011 College Professor of Distinction. The announcement was delivered on Tuesday, April 19, 2011.
According to the Arts and Sciences Web site, "The honorific title College Professor of Distinction is reserved for scholars and artists of national and international distinction who are also recognized by their College peers as teachers and colleagues of exceptional talent."
The College of Arts & Sciences will host an event in the fall to celebrate Dr. Greene and the other new Professors of Distinction.
