How to Apply for Exchange

To be eligible to apply to the University of Colorado Boulder as an exchange student, you must:

• A current student at a partner institution with an established exchange agreement,
• Meet CU Boulder student exchange eligibility requirements, and
• You must be nominated by your home university.

Exchange Deadlines:

Once nominated, you will need to complete our application process by the following deadlines:

• Fall applications are due to our office by February 15th
  • Exceptions:
    • Music exchange applications are due by January 15
    • Law exchange applications are due by March 15
• Spring applications are due to our office by October 1st

Important Note: 

If you are not currently a student at an exchange partner institution, you are not eligible to apply to CU Boulder as an exchange student.  If you are still interested in applying to attend CU Boulder, you must apply through the Admissions Office.
