Exchange Student Eligibility

Applicants who meet the following criteria may apply for the exchange program at CU Boulder:

  1. Must be nominated by your home university
  2. Must have completed at least two semesters of study at your home university as a degree-seeking student
  3. Have a minimum GPA of a 2.5 or higher
  4. Students admitted as undergraduate students must demonstrate a proficiency in English language as determined by scores from an approved English aptitude test:
  5. Students admitted as graduate students are subject to the English language proficiency requirements set by the Graduate School.
    1. Law students are subject to the English language proficiency requirements set by JD International Admissions

Note that students from certain exchange partners may not have to submit proof of English language proficiency, including those based in English-speaking countries.
