Karalyn Wright

Karalyn Wright serves as the manager of policy and external relations in Outreach and Community Engagement. Working closely with the associate vice chancellor for external partnerships, Wright helps identify and manage external relationships and collaborations that support the campus’s broader missions. She manages the campus’s legislative feedback process and works closely with the CU System Office of Government Relations to support the campus’s public policy goals. Prior to joining CU Boulder in 2023, Wright worked in the Ohio state legislature developing bill language, researching policy areas and managing constituent services. Wright received her bachelor’s degree in political science and communications from Loyola University Chicago and is currently pursuing her masters of public policy at CU Denver. Originally from Connecticut, Wright now lives in Colorado with her husband and enjoys spending time outside running, biking and exploring the state.
