CDR KauffmanCommander Regina Kauffman

CDR Kauffman graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Aerospace Engineering, and she was commissioned through the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps in December 1997. She earned her Naval Flight Officer wings in 1999, and she recently achieved designation as Space Cadre and an
Information Warfare Officer.

CDR Kauffman’s sea duty assignments included two operational tours in Fleet Air
Reconnaissance Squadron ONE (VQ-1) as an EP-3E Navigator, Evaluator, Senior Evaluator, and Mission Commander; a tour aboard USS ENTERPRISE (CVN 65) as a Tactical Action Officer; and a tour aboard USS CARL VINSON (CVN 70) as the Combat Direction Center Officer.

CDR Kauffman’s Patrol and Reconnaissance staff assignments included tours at Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing TEN, and Patrol and Reconnaissance GROUP. CDR Kauffman’s joint assignments included: United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).

CDR Kauffman is a graduate of the executive MBA (non-resident) program and the Space Systems certificate (non-resident) at Naval Post Graduate School, and Joint Professional Military Education I through the Naval War College.
