Dr. Maksimovic’s research interests include the study and modeling of the radio emissions associated with the coronal mass ejections (Type IIs) and heliospheric energetic particles (Type IIIs), in-situ measurements in the solar wind and modeling of the particle velocity distribution functions, and models of solar wind formation and acceleration. Additionally, he's the PI of the Radio & Plasma Waves instrument on the Solar Orbiter missions and co-PI of the SWAVES instrument on STEREO, CoI on FIELDS / Parker SOalr Probe, Bepi Colombo, and CLUSTER.
