Jordan works on developing theoretical models of the global 21-cm signal in the broader context of galaxy formation. His most recent work has focused on building a new framework for modeling the global 21-cm signal that can simultaneously generate predictions for other probes of galaxies, such as the galaxy luminosity function, which is a prime target of Hubble and soon, the James Webb Space Telescope.
