We are now accepting summer research project submissions for the 2026 SMART (Summer Multicultural Access to Research Training) program. The program will run from June 1 – July 31, 2026.
- If you are interested in hosting a SMART intern, please submit your project no later than November 30, 2025. Student applications will open on November 1, 2025 and close the first week of February 2026.
- Your project description will be posted on the SMART website here and used to recruit undergraduate applicants.
- Based on your feedback, we have revised the intake form to capture more detailed information about your projects and to help us match you with the strongest candidates. Please note that the form is slightly longer this year to better reflect the needs of both faculty and students.
