Apartment style living is open to sophomore/second-year status or beyond residents and non first-year transfer students. This living experience offers the independence of off-campus living with the convenience and support of being located within campus housing in the Williams Village neighborhood. Students sign individual contracts for the spring semester. They also have the ability to sign a separate summer housing contract. Our apartment style options include multiple types of fully furnished apartments, full kitchens, free tutoring through the Academic Success and Achievement Program (ASAP) and community-building activities and events.

To live in apartment style living you must:

  • Be a currently enrolled CU Boulder student or have confirmed your intent to enroll with the Office of Admissions for the spring semester.
  • Be in second-year sophomore/second-year or beyond standing (having graduated HS in 2023 or earlier), or transferred to CU after the first year.
  • Be an undergraduate student with a minimum of six (6) credits per semester.

Disability and Religious Accommodations

CU Boulder provides reasonable housing accommodations to residents with disability or religious-related needs. Our website can assist in learning more about disability accommodations and how to start your request. For religious accommodation, please email University Housing.

In order to apply for spring 2024 housing:

  • You  must confirm your intent to enroll and activate your Identikey before you can log into MyCULiving and apply for housing.
  • The housing application includes a $250 deposit and a $50 non-refundable application fee totaling $300 if you are offered housing. Any student who previously paid a 2023-24 $50 application fee will be exempt from this fee.*

*Tuition and fees are just one part of the overall cost to attend CU Boulder. The full cost of attendance for an academic year could include expenses such as on-campus housing and food, books and supplies, and items that are not billed by the university, such as personal expenses, transportation and medical insurance. View the full cost of attendance.

Once a student has signed the contract, submitted an application fee and a deposit is on file, they are held to the terms of the contract.
