Welcome to your new on-campus home! We are excited to have you living on campus. Continue to check your @colorado.edu email address in the coming weeks for updates and important information about your housing assignment and move-in. 

Check-in

Whether you are moving into a residence hall, Bear Creek or Weber Hall, you can begin moving in any time between Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024 at 10 a.m. and Monday Jan. 15, 2024. No appointments are needed. If you plan to arrive later than Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024, please email universityhousing@colorado.edu to discuss late arrival options.

When you arrive on campus to move-in, proceed directly to the Community Center front desk inside of your assigned residence hall or in Weber hall for all Bear Creek arrivals. Hall staff will complete your check-in, issue you a Buff OneCard and activate your meals and room access. It is important to note that Community Center front desks will close at 11:30 p.m. each night, and we strongly encourage residents to arrive before this time to prevent extensive wait times. 

Community Center front desks are located inside the main entrance of each hall, with the following exceptions. 

  • The Community Center for both Weber Hall and Bear Creek is located inside Weber Hall. 
  • The Community Center for Reed Hall is located inside of Willard Hall. 
  • The Community Center for Brackett, Cockerell and Crosman is located inside of Aden Hall.

Parking

Parking is available in all residence halls, Bear Creek and Weber Hall lots during move-in. No parking permit is needed in these lots between Jan. 11-15, 2024. Regular parking enforcement of parking lots will resume at 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 15.

If you intend to leave a vehicle on campus, please purchase a parking permit through Parking and Transportation Services. 

To help ensure continued safety, vehicles that park along curbs, on end caps, in fire lanes or in a reserved space will be removed at the owner's expense.

Resources and Support

A limited number of luggage carts will be available for you to check-out during your move-in process. Luggage carts will be available at the Community Center front desk when you check-in. 

You are also welcome to ship items to campus prior to your arrival. Your mailing address was provided to you in your housing assignment email from universityhousing@colorado.edu. All packages will need to be picked up at the campus UPS Stores after you check in. Check out Home 2 Home Shipping for more information.
