Academic Year 2026-27 | Current Student Housing Application Process
We are opening a brand-new hall for non-first-year students and the options for housing are Bear Creek and Code Talker Halls. Unfortunately, Weber Hall will not be available for reapplication. The process is different from past years, so please follow the housing application process below based on your current housing assignment. Prices will also be different, please review the Contracts & Rates page for the proposed 2026-27 rates for each hall beginning Dec. 2025.
Note the application timeline deadlines as they are firm. Please contact University Housing at universityhousing@colorado.edu with any questions.
2026-27 application process for current Bear Creek and Weber Hall students
Process for 2026-27 campus housing:
- Current residents will have priority to apply for a random selection process
- Students rank Bear Creek Hall and Code Talker Hall
- Students are randomly selected and assigned to one of the two halls
- Students will be given one of the following: Self-assignment time slot to either Code Talker or Bear Creek Hall, or a not selected notification
- Students given a timeslot must select a room in their designated hall by Jan. 30, or they lose their offer for housing
- Anyone self-assigned by Jan. 30 can go back in and make changes, including to a new building Feb. 2-4. Changes can only apply to vacancies; any swaps will need to be coordinated with University Housing.
- Anyone who misses the Random Selection application window or does not self-assign by Jan. 30, if given a timeslot, will not be able to apply until the Waitlist opens on Feb. 26
Also, if students are looking for summer housing, summer contracts and assignments are a separate agreement, based on need/availability, and may not be the current Academic Year 2025-26 housing placement, nor future 2026-27 housing assignment. That application will open at the end of March.
