On April 13, the Studio Lab Program held a Poster Extravaganza to celebrate the accomplishments of its undergraduate students participating in faculty-mentored research across a range of social science disciplines.  Nine Linguistics advisors (7 faculty and 2 doctoral students) mentored Studio Lab students who took part in year-long projects on a rich array of topics: language revitalization, language acquisition, Tagalog sentence production, language discrimination, sociolinguistics, language and autism, and analyzing the language of racism on Twitter, to name a few.

Congratulations to our Studio Lab students on their hard work and achievements: Luke Stumpfl (mentor: Joe Dupris), Juanita Hurtado and Tvishi Yendamuri (mentor: Norielle Adricula), Conner Moses (mentors: Bhuvana Narasimhan, Rebecca Scarborough), Sean Scanlon and Anna Hoisington (mentor: Kira Hall), Blanca Cerda Herrera and Boniface Mwinyi (mentor: Chase Raymond), Victoria Efigenio-Ulloa, Vincent Burnett, and Alexis Cooper (mentors: Alexis Palmer, Rebecca Lee).
