A recent article in Colorado Arts & Sciences Magazine by Chris Talbot (with contributions from Cay Leytham-Powell) spotlights the work of current CU Linguistics PhD student Maureen Kosse. Undertaking a nuanced, in-depth analysis of usage of the word "cuck" on alt-right and far-right digital platforms, Kosse published her work last summer as an article in the journal Gender and Language, “‘Ted Cruz cucks again’: the insult term cuck as an alt-right masculinist signifier.”
