Dr. Raichle Farrelly, Teaching Associate Professor and director of the TESOL program at CU Boulder Linguistics, has been elected to the Board of Directors for the TESOL International Association. Rai is one of three newly-elected board members for this wide-reaching and dynamic organization and will serve a three-year term as part of the 8-member board, from 2022-2025. The full slate of elected leaders can be seen here.

Dr. Laura Michaelis, chair of Linguistics, says this about Rai: “Dr. Farrelly is not just a gifted teacher of TESOL theory and practice; she is also an academic leader, improving the way Linguistics assesses teaching quality; an educational innovator who helps our students thrive-- from creating classroom communities to leading education abroad experiences--and an advocate for the use of TESOL as an instrument of social justice and solidarity at CU, in CO and around the world.”

We are honored and humbled to have Rai as our colleague – a thousand congratulations, Rai!
