Spend five weeks in Chengdu, exploring Chinese culture through English teaching! You’ll have the opportunity to participate in field-based learning by visiting local classrooms and connecting with English language learners and teachers. Additional seminars in Tai Chi, Calligraphy, and Chinese language will deepen your understanding of Chinese culture.

LING 3800 is open to all majors, and counts towards the linguistic major or minor. It will also be a core course for an undergraduate TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate anticipated, to start in Spring 2017. Learn more at the upcoming info session: Monday 10/25 5:00-6:00 p.m. in C4C S435.

Please note this (and other) Global Seminars through Study Abroad are for undergraduates.
