Jacob is originally from Knoxville, TN and graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering in May 2014. His research focuses on using atomic layer deposition and density functional theory to further understand the surface reactions occurring during Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis and other catalytic processes. Outside of research, Jacob enjoys biking, golfing, hiking, and snowboarding.
