Catherine graduated from Centre College in the spring of 2024 and joined Team Weimer the following fall. During her undergraduate education, she researched organic synthesis for semiconducting molecules at her alma mater and during an internship at Queen Mary University of London. Catherine was introduced to chemical engineering in the summer of 2023 through a research experience at the University of Kentucky focusing on membrane separations. Now, as a part of Dr. Al Weimer’s lab she is furthering her chemical engineering career as she researches particle molecular layer deposition to synthesize carbon capture materials.
