ISSS Forms Moving to the MyISSS Portal

ISSS request forms are moving to a new portal system called MyISSS. Students may be familiar with the MyISSS portal already because the ISSS orientation check-in form and CPT request from have been available in MyISSS for several months now, but moving forward an increasing number of ISSS forms will be available in the portal over the coming months.

What is MyISSS?

MyISSS is a web-based portal that international students can log into using their IdentiKey login credentials. Within the portal, you can access university immigration-related request forms and notifications.

How do I access the MyISSS Portal?

Open the portal at https://isss.cu.edu
Select the login button
Select your campus
Login using your Identikey
- If given an option, select Full Client Services (NOT Limited Client Services)

Why are forms being moved to this platform?

MyISSS interfaces with the software and services that ISSS uses to process immigration-related requests and send communications. By moving forms into the MyISSS portal, ISSS staff can process submitted requests more efficiently.

Are all forms being moved over?

The number of forms available in MyISSS will increase throughout the year with different types of forms being released in phases.

Spring 2021: Orientation
May 2021: CPT
Fall 2021: Majority of F-1 immigration-based forms and general J-1 student forms

Future phases include employment-based forms (OPT), additional J-1 student forms, and scholar forms. Until a form has been launched in the portal, students, scholars, and departments will continue to use ISSS DocuSign forms.

What forms are available?

Below are listed the different categories of forms as they appear in the portal and the forms within each category. Click on any of the form names to see a description of which immigration status the form is available for currently and when the form should be submitted. Please note that the F-1 student forms are being prioritized first with J-1 student versions of these forms coming later as well as forms for our various scholar statuses. Please reach out to ISSS if you ever have issues finding a form.

Arrival & Immigration Check-In

Available for: F-1 Students, F-2 Dependents, J-1 Students, J-2 Dependents

This is the form that should be submitted upon first entry to the United States in F-1 or J-1 status; after transfering your SEVIS record to CU Boulder, or returning from a leave of absence on a new I-20 or DS-2019. It includes a dependent I-94 submission for F-2 and J-2 dependents who accompany the F-1 or J-1 primary to the U.S. at the start of the program. This is how students report their arrival to ISSS so that ISSS can confirm their presence in SEVIS.

Available for: F-1 Students

This form is for submitting a quiz grade from our orientation canvas course. A passing quiz grade is required to complete your orientation.

Available for: F-2 Dependents,

This is the form that should be submitted after dependents first enter the United States in F-2 status when they do NOT accompany the F-1 or J-1 student/scholar on their initial entry to the U.S. to start the program. This is form is used to report dependents arrival to ISSS so that ISSS can confirm their presence in SEVIS.

General Forms

Available for: F-1 Students, J-1 Students, J-1 Scholars, Other Scholars

The is the form students and scholars should use to securely submit any miscellaneous documentation to ISSS (i.e., a copy of your EAD card, change in citizenship, etc.).

Available for: F-1 Students, J-1 Students

This is the form students should use to securely submit proof of funding. ISSS may ask for proof of funding in order to issue a new initial I-20 (F-1) or DS-2019 (J-1).
