CU Boulder is committed to inclusive excellence and upholds it as a priority across the campus. The resources listed below help to foster CU Boulder's vision for a diverse campus climate and help to engage our campus and community members in valuing our common experiences and celebrating our differences:

  • The Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC), under the leadership of Associate Vice Chancellor and Title IX Coordinator, Llen Pomeroy, employs a comprehensive and integrated approach for case resolution, education, assessment, support services, and ADA accommodations to create and foster a safe, inclusive, and accessible campus environment for all members of the CU community and the general public.
  • The Faculty & Staff Assistance Program is dedicated to serving the emotional and psychological needs of the campus community.
  • Don't Ignore it. There are options for seeking confidential support, reporting concerns, referring someone for help, and learning skills for helping others. Don't ignore mental health concerns, potential threats, harassment, racist incidents, unwanted sexual behavior, abuse in a relationship, stalking, hazing, and other interpersonal or abusive conduct.
  • The Infrastructure & Sustainability Mentor Program (ISMP) is designed to provide Infrastructure & Sustainability staff with an opportunity for both professional and personal development through a variety of self-directed activities as mentor-team participants.  The ISMP is open to all Infrastructure & Sustainability staff who have been with the university for at least one year.
  • The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) strives to create and sustain a more inclusive community and support students, staff and faculty.
  • CU Boulder Human Resources (HR) contributes leadership, guidance, tools and services to support employees throughout their careers at CU Boulder and to cultivate a culture which upholds the campus’ strongly held values. HR partners with campus in the achievement of the campus vision and strategic imperatives.
  • The Center for Inclusion & Social Change (CISC) seeks to provide high-impact, transformational community-building and educational programs to the CU Boulder community, and to nurture leaders grounded in the core concepts of intersectional identity development, diversity, equity and social justice.
  • The Center for Teaching & Learning's (CTL) Inclusivity page has many resources on how to make teaching and learning more inclusive.
  • CU Boulder Disability Services is dedicated to providing students with disabilities an equal opportunity to participate in university programs, courses and activities through reasonable accommodations and services. Our office is here to support students, staff and faculty with accommodation requests, implementation, guidance and general information.
  • The CU Boulder Veteran and Military Affairs (VMA) can assist with pay, programs, policy, information and support for prospective and current student veterans and veteran dependents.
  • CU Boulder's Staff Council is a team of elected members from across the campus who represent the interests of campus staff by advocating on a variety of issues, proposing policies, serving in an advisory role to administration, and facilitating a variety of events to bring collaborative opportunities to the campus.
  • The Anderson Language and Technology Center (ALTEC) offers language classes that are perfect for busy adults with a desire to learn new languages and cultures.  The classes are non-credit with no tests and their students are highly motivated to learn the language to use in their profession, social life, and travels.
