New Venture Challenge (NVC)

It's not too late to participate and gain valuable entrepreneurial exposure through the New Venture Challenge! Watch and hear firsthand as CU student, faculty and staff founded startups rise to the top with innovations. Gain feedback on the entrepreneurial process from participants and judges. You can find and register for each of the remaining NVC events this spring, including the NVC Finals at the Boulder Theater on April 23rd, here.

Startup Summer

Startup Summer 2025 at CU Boulder offers an exclusive opportunity to learn from Colorado’s top entrepreneurs. Participants receive a curated tour of the startup ideation and creation process, build a venture with a team of peers, and compete in an end-of-summer pitch contest for cash prizes. Catalyze CU

Catalyze CU is a summer-long startup accelerator program designed for CU Boulder ventures created by students, faculty and staff. It combines world class mentorship, funding and a dedicated co-working space to help the most promising ventures from across campus reach escape velocity—without taking any equity. Deming Center for Entrepreneurship

Housed within Leeds, the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship offers a variety of programming to train tomorrow’s top entrepreneurs. The Certificate in Entrepreneurial Studies is open to students majoring and minoring in Business. Get involved here!

CU Denver TechUp Seminars

TechUp Seminars are a series of offerings from CU Denver that culminate in great entrepreneurial training, networking with community leaders and entrepreneurial faculty, and credentials you can use to demonstrate your newfound skills. These seminars are designed to help individuals move from idea to commercialization of tech ideas. They’re open to anyone and free. There are numerous other benefits and a new seminar series starts in April. Learn more and register here!
