Advisor: Professor Andrews • Greg is a second-year PhD student whose research interests center around the environmental and cultural history of the twentieth-century North American West.  In 2021, he won the Montana The Magazine of Western History Emerging Scholar Contest, and the journal published his article “Rebranding Neoliberalism: Idaho’s Owyhee Ranchers Confront Rangeland Reform ’94” in its autumn 2021 issue.  Greg holds an MA in history from Boise State University, a JD from Harvard Law School, and a BA in history and political science from Yale College.  Prior to resuming his history studies, he practiced law as a prosecutor and government attorney.
