Becca Chavez graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in creative writing and a minor in Philosophy. After graduating from Penza State University, Russia, Daria was working as an instructor in English and Russian as a Foreign Language at PSU. In 2018-2019, she was a Russian TA at Lehigh University, PA as part of Fulbright FLTA program. Daria performed research in linguistics and lexicology in Russia. Her interests also include pedagogy, linguoculturology, Russian and English literature.

Madelyn Scarlett graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors in Russian and a minor in Astronomy and Astrophysics. She is a member of the Flying Subtitles Collective, an organization which provides free English subtitles to Russian films, including student films from amateur filmmakers at Russian universities. She is interested in environmental policy and culture in Russian-speaking countries, especially those economically dependent on natural resource extraction.
