Resource Directory

The work done at the Gender and Sexuality Center cannot be effective without the on and off campus support available in the form of 1-on-1 support from our staff, student groups, campus departments and community organizations. To the right there are links to resources that will provide more in depth information on services offered.

For Students:

Wardenburg Health Services offers transition and non-transition health care.  Students can enter preferred names for their health records and opt to have a different gender placed on their chart.  We have specialists for transgender care and Wardenburg staff participate in Safe Zone trainings.  Please see their website for more information:

Queer and Trans Sexual Health Videos.  These are a set of videos made by students at the center and at community health (now health promotions) that offer new ways to talk about bodies, body parts and sex.  They are one of the coolest things ever!  Be sure and watch all six episodes (don't worry, each video is only 5 minutes long).

For Staff and Faculty:

New Staff/Faculty Trans health care coverage starts in July, 2015.  The following plans now cover transition related expenses (surgery and HRT):

CU Health Plan-Extended, CU Health Plan- High Deductible, CU Health Plan-Kaiser and CU Health Plan-Medicare
