Kian is a second-year PhD student from Mission Viejo, California. He holds a Masters (MPhys) in Astrophysics from the University of St Andrews, Scotland. He has previously worked as a Spacecraft Controller for satellite communications company OneWeb and as a Spacecraft Flight Software Systems Engineer within NASA's Commercial Crew Program at Johnson Space Center. His research interests include spacecraft navigation, autonomy, and small body missions. Kian is a NDSEG Fellow and a Draper Scholar
