Museums and exhibits
Admission to the CU Art Museum, CU Museum of Natural History and CU Heritage Center is always free! Additionally, many museums in Denver have special days each month with free admission, including the Denver Art Museum and Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Easily visit Denver for free with your RTD pass on most of the RTD Flatiron Flyer bus routes.
I Love Mondays
There’s no better way to cure your case of the Monday blues than joining I Love Mondays at the UMC! This event is the perfect way to kick start your week! Located in the UMC North Dining hall right by Alferd Packer Grill from 2 to 3 p.m., I Love Mondays also promotes other opportunities on campus that you can get involved in. This month’s events include a nacho bar, soft pretzel bar, snack bar and creating air plant terrariums!
Wellness Wednesdays
Engage in self-care activities, learn about campus resources and build community at Wellness Wednesdays! Themes rotate weekly. This month’s activities include planting succulents, creating gratitude journals and making lavender spray for better sleep.
Fri-Yay Nights
Hooray! It’s Friday!! Come celebrate the start of the weekend with your fellow Buffs at Fri-Yay Nights! This month’s events include a spirit day on the Norlin Quad, a corn roast and BBQ to prep for the Nebraska vs. CU football game, a night of video gaming, a free screening of Finding Nemo at the Buff Pool and a plant party!!! Join us on Friday nights for this array of fun-filled activities and show your school spirit!
Friday Power Hour at The Rec
The beginning of the school year is a great time to begin new workout habits and get into a routine. Come get your workout on at The Rec this month with free Friday Power Hour! This month’s classes include power, cycle, yoga and pilates - all free with a Buff OneCard!
'Facts, Not Fears: Dismantling the Misconceptions of Refugees'
Cultural Events Board is bringing Isra Chaker, CU alumna, civil rights activist, campaign specialist and advocacy expert at Oxfam, to speak on campus on Sept. 17. The event is free and open to the public.
On-Campus Student Job Fair
On Sept. 10, network with departments who are hiring students employees for fall 2019, apply for available jobs and learn more about the variety of student jobs available on campus! Hourly and work-study positions available. Open to all current undergraduate and graduate students. Bring resumes, questions and yourself in business-casual attire!
CU Bike Fest
Head to Farrand Field on Sept. 10 for an afternoon of bike community, culture, fun and information. This year's Used Bike Sale will be held in conjunction with the CU Bike Fest at 6 p.m.
I Love Female Orgasm
Laugh and learn about the “Big O” on Sept. 12 in this playful, honest approach to the topic of the female orgasm. This program is inclusive of people of all genders, gender identities and sexual orientations.
Texas Hold'em Poker Tournaments
Put on your poker face! Play in a free Texas Hold’em poker tournament in the UMC room 425! Sign up is at 6 p.m., so don’t miss it! Everyone and all skill levels welcome!
Video Game Tournaments
Are you a gamer? Want bragging rights? Here’s your chance! Join the Madden 20 and Rocket League video game tournaments in the UMC room 415. These tournaments will be played on the PlayStation 4. Sign up starts at 6 p.m, and tournament formats are double elimination and/or round robin. Prizes will be given out to top finishers!
Karaoke Nights
Are you tired of singing in the shower and want a chance to hit the stage? Well then come to karaoke night and get the full rock-star experience in UMC room 457.
Trivia Nights
Looking for a fun Monday night activity? Sign up for trivia night! Every Monday night at the University Memorial Center, test your knowledge of everything from celebrities to sports to history and more in UMC room 415. Teams and individuals are welcome. Prizes are awarded to top finishers!

Women’s soccer and volleyball
The CU women's soccer team has a home game Sept. 19 on Pretnup Field, and the CU women's volleyball team has several home games at the CU Events Center. Bring your valid Buff OneCard for admission.
Program Council Film Series
Join Program Coucil on Friday evenings for the ever popular Film Series. This month includes The Last Black Man in San Francisco on Sept. 13 and Yesterday on Sept. 20. Both films start at 8 p.m. in Cristol Chemistry room 140.
