Research: My research focuses on using UV LED technologies to reduce biofilm formation or inactivate biofilm-bound opportunistic pathogens. I utilize various bench-scale experiments to test if and how UV LEDs can be used to reduce the burden of biofilms within drinking water distribution systems.
