A little about my career path: I began work at a small consulting firm in Albuquerque, New Mexico as an bioaerosol research engineer. I returned to Colorado to work for the Colorado Air Pollution Control Division first as an air quality modeler and permit engineer, then shifting into roles within the planning and policy program at the Division. For over 15 years at the state of Colorado, I worked on a plethora of air quality issues, including nitrogen deposition, ozone, monitoring, oil and gas, power plants, visibility, and more. I also supervised multiple staff. In December 2020, I accepted a position with the National Park Service to be the Regions 6-8 (Intermountain West) Air Quality Specialist, supporting the Interior West's National Parks air quality programs and priorities as well as providing expertise to the National Park Service's national office housed in Denver.
