EVEN Student Jasmine Gamboa #ILookLikeAnEngineer
Earlier this month Jasmine Gamboa was featured in CU Boulder’s #ILookLikeAnEngineer campaign. Jasmine is “a first-generation student and pound Latina” studying Environmental Engineer, class of 2020. She is unsure specifically of what career she wants to peruse after graduation, but she is passionate about maximizing efficiencies of cities and companies to make them as environmentally friendly as possible.
In the featured article Jasmine also explains, that for her, #ILookLikeAnEngineer means “that everyone is embraced and encouraged to become an engineer” and that anyone can be successful as an engineer regardless of their upbringing or background.
