Over the last few years the Colorado Youth Corps Association has compiled a partner distribution list to share current internship opportunities. These valuable internships are in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management Colorado State Office, BLM Field Offices and the BLM National Operations Center (NOC) here in Colorado. Internships focus on a diverse range of duties including information technology, firefighting, public information officers, hydrology, GIS mapping and others.

Since its inception in 2011, the BLM internship program has resulted in:

  • 107 interns serving at BLM Field Offices, the CO State Office, and the NOC
  • 37% of the interns qualify as diversity hires
  • Over 56,000 hours of service performed, and
  • $1.9 million in BLM funds obligated to date

We are thrilled to be kicking off another year with our BLM internship program here in Colorado, and want to make sure that we are casting our net far and wide to reach potential candidates throughout the state and all across the country!
