Organization: DelAgua

Background: DelAgua recently distributed water treatment systems and cookstoves to 100,000 households across the Western Province of Rwanda. The program was implemented as part of a Ministry of Health public health campaign utilizing teams of Community Health Workers (CHWs). As a follow up to the initial health campaign, CHWs will visit all households again in the next few months to further educate and train households on the use and importance of the stoves and filters, while recording data on smartphones.

Duties: With the large amount of data being collected by CHWs, data "cleaning" is necessary to ensure the quality of data being processed. The "cleaning" process includes reviewing data for possible errors and either correcting errors or informing DelAgua staff of inconsistencies. This position is completely desk based but provides insight into the larger program which may include future field based opportunities.

Qualifications: Advanced computer literacy in Excel required. Ability to communicate effectively over email.

Duration: Looking to fill the position immediately for approximately 12 weeks. A commitment of approximately 15 hours per week is required.

Rate: $12/hour
