Assistant Professor Danielle Rivera published a new article in the International Journal of Urban and Regional Research (IJURR). The article examines the impacts of repeated disasters in entrenching Puerto Rican colonization. It asks planners to more deeply consider the effects of repeatedly-poor disaster response on vulnerable communities.
