Graduation Bulletin - February 23, 2023

This Bulletin contains all things graduation, whether you are a winter, spring or summer ENVD grad. Please visit our webpage any time for more information on the steps you need to complete to graduate and spring ceremony details.

We have created a simple checklist to follow as you begin your journey to graduation. 

• Confirm degree audit with your upper-division advisor; schedule an appointment through Buff Portal Advising 
• Apply for graduation by April 1, 2023:  
  • Log in to Buff Portal. On the Academics / Schedule tab, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Apply for Graduation. Visit the Registrar's website for instructions on how to change your existing application, change your graduation term or update your diploma name or address. 
• Add us to your education section on LinkedIn.
• Create a profile on the ForeverBuffs Network, and join the Environmental Design group. 
• Complete the ENVD graduate exit survey.
• Graduate!

The upper-division advising team is hosting a Grad Checkout Tabling Event. Stop by the ENVD lobby to check your eligibility status for graduation. This event is not required, but strongly encouraged.

All students planning to attend the ENVD Career & Internship Fair in March are invited to participate in the prep meeting. The meeting will provide information on how you can prepare for a successful experience during the Career & Internship Fair. Pizza will be provided.

Students must wear regalia, a.k.a, graduation cap and gown, to participate in the CU and ENVD ceremonies. Purchase regalia from the CU Book Store either in-store or online. Visit the Spring Cap & Gown Information page for more information.

It brings us great pleasure to announce that ENVD 2022 Young Designer Award recipient Jordon Lockner will be this year’s speaker at the Environmental Design Recognition Ceremony. Learn more about Lockner.

The graduation application is now open for spring 2023. Apply to graduate by April 1, 2023 to ensure that you receive ceremony emails and that your name will be in the campus and ENVD graduation programs.

Now is the time to start talking about graduation with your advisor. Schedule an appointment with your advisor through Buff Portal Advising. 

If you plan on graduating in summer 2023 and would like to participate in the May 2023 Campus Commencement and ENVD Recognition Ceremonies, be sure to apply by April 1, 2023. This will ensure that you receive ceremony info through your email and your name will be in the campus and ENVD graduation programs.
