We’re excited to announce that Mark Meiser, founder, president and CEO of Rothschild Downes and MEIZ Development Company, and ENVD distinguished alumni award winner, will speak at our recognition ceremony.

Emma Coburn, a three-time track Olympian, NCAA national Champion and CU Boulder alumna, will deliver the 2025 commencement address.

What to wear

You will continue an age-old tradition by wearing the same caps, gowns, cords and hoods as generations of Buffs before you. You will wear a black gown, a black cap and a lavender-colored tassel. You can purchase your regalia from the CU Book Store online or in person.
Regalia for spring 2025 ceremonies will be available in store beginning March 3, 2025.

In addition to your traditional regalia, you may wear cords, stoles and medals to represent your communities, programs, clubs and honors at CU Boulder. Learn which options are available to you.

Confirm degree audit with your upper-division advisor. Schedule an appointment through Buff Portal Advising.

Apply for graduation:
- Log in to Buff Portal. On the Academics / Schedule tab, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Apply for Graduation. Visit the Registrar's website for instructions on how to change your existing application, change your graduation term or update your diploma name or address.

Create a profile on the ForeverBuffs Network, and join the Environmental Design group.

Complete the graduate exit survey.
