All students graduating from the Department of English in spring 2019, summer 2019 or fall 2018 are encouraged to participate.
No RSVP is required. Students may invite as many guests as they wish.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. with a casual reception at the north end of the theatre. The recognition ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Students should arrive by 9:10 a.m. to check in and should line up for the processional by 9:20 a.m. in the hallway between Hellems rm. 101 and Hellems rm. 124.
All students are responsible for procuring their own caps, gowns, tassels, etc. (academic regalia). Follow this link for more info.
Though academic regalia is required at the campus graduation event at Folsom Field, it is NOT required at the Department of English ceremony. Please direct any academic regalia related questions to the CU Bookstore, not the Department of English.
The ceremony takes place outdoors, rain or shine. Please dress accordingly.
