Apply for Graduation

If you plan to graduate within the next year, you must check with your dean’s office for graduation application deadlines and notification procedures. To apply for graduation, log in to MyCUInfo, go to your Academics/Schedule tab, scroll to the bottom and click Apply for Graduation. Visit the Office of the Registrar website for more information and current deadlines.

Forever Buffs

You are a Forever Buff and part of a family of more than 250,000 CU Boulder alumni that have access to all of the Alumni Association’s benefits and services for free! It’s membership benefits without the burden of paying membership dues.

But first, be sure to pick up your free legacy cord!  The CU Boulder Alumni Association gives legacy cords to graduating students whose parents, grandparents or siblings are CU alumni. The black and gold cords are worn with your cap and gown to recognize your family’s connection to CU.  For more information, click here.


Graduation Announcements

Standard graduation announcements may be purchased starting two months prior to commencement at the CU Book Store or by calling 303-492-6411 or 800-255-9168. Personalized announcements can be ordered anytime (allow five to seven business days for printing and shipping) through CB Announcements at 800-433-0296.

Cap and Gown Portraits

Portraits will be available at the Grad Fair on April 4, no sitting fee or obligation to purchase.  

Stole of Gratitude

The graduation stole is a great way to say thank you to that special person who gave you support and guidance throughout your college career. One dollar for each stole sold goes back to the Senior Class. Graduation stoles are available at the CU Book Store.

Outstanding Student Stories Students at Graduation Ceremony

CU-Boulder News Services is looking for interesting stories about outstanding graduating students to use in publicity for the upcoming commencement ceremony. If you know someone who represents the excellence of the university through high academic, community, or leadership activities, or has overcome unusual challenges to complete his/her degree, please consider sharing his/her story.
