This award recognizes faculty and/or staff advisors who demonstrate exceptional advising skills and who serve as role models to other advisors. Recipients are selected based on the scores and comments received on class surveys and the nomination form. Awards are $1,000 and may or may not be made each year at the discretion of the selection committee.
Procedures
The nomination process will take place in March/April, and the winners will be selected by a college committee and notified over the summer. Advisors may not win the award two years in a row. Outstanding advisors will be honored in the fall.
