Kayla Boster
Kayla joined the College of Engineering and Applied Science in October 2021 after working for a research project elsewhere on campus. Prior to CU, she worked at Colorado School of Mines in both central administration and Petroleum Engineering. Outside of work, Kayla is addicted to traveling, gardening and exploring new cuisine.

What do you most like to do to unwind?
Sit on a patio with my husband and a glass of red…or a negroni-tough choice!

Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why? 
It’s too hard to choose one, but I loved our time in South Africa. We stayed on an amazing ranch and woke up to baby meerkats running around the main house and rhinos eating grass just outside the door. It was truly a once in a lifetime trip.

If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor? 
Betty White all the way!

Right now, it’s The Mandalorian
