Frontczak 2022

Master storyteller Susan Marie Frontczak, playing the part of Mary Shelley, tells how the famous and familiar story of Dr. Frankenstein's creature is related to ethical issues that arise when scientific pursuits introduce unexpected results. Frontczak parallels the story of Frankenstein with "Beauty and the Beast" - a story that many children know very well and invites listeners to understand, through empathy and compassion, the plight of Frankenstein's creature.  The show, geared for a young audience grades 3 - 12, will invite audience participation in discussion of how and why it is important for science and humanity to coexist.

Audience members are invited to come in costume to this show that will remind us - appearances are only a part of our stories!
