Angela Sullivan joined the CUCS team in 2026 with 8 years of non-profit and private event and meeting management experience. Angela hails from Illinois and earned her bachelor’s degree in Art Education from Bradley University in 2004. Driven by her innate passion for homes and design, she took a leap into Real Estate right out of college as a licensed agent and broker and is still licensed today! She has 13 years of experience as a summer camp director where she embraced her passion for Program Management and Youth Leadership. Angela eventually made it back to her roots and was an art teacher for 6yrs.
Recruited by St. John Leadership Institute, she relocated to Colorado in 2018 to run their start-up program for a Leadership Formation Certificate for entrepreneurs earning their Master’s degree. Not one to pass up great opportunities that involve her faith, she took a position at the Archdiocese of Denver Office of Catholic Schools as an administrative assistant where she especially supported the superintendents and managed logistics for meetings and the teacher licensing /certification programs.
Having organized and directed a wide variety of events in her career, she made the decision to pursue a full-time position in events as an Events Manager at a private country club.
When the opportunity to work for CU presented itself, it was a great opportunity to move back into the educational arena but with a conference focus! A great mix of both worlds!
Angela and her husband, Matt, were married in 2021 and are enjoying being homeowners with their two cats, Mona Lisa and Jean Ralphio!
