The direct or indirect production of a chemical fuel from sunlight remains one of the grand challenges of photochemistry. The #SOLFuel session will discuss photo-electrocatalysis, the reduction of CO2, oxygen evolution reactions, reactions at photoelectrodes, light harvesting in natural photosynthetic systems, as well as other photochemical conversion processes in semi-synthetic systems.
