Natalia Benitez

Tana Benitez was born in the Philippines, but is no stranger to Boulder. Having lived downtown for over 19 years, she has returned after four years on the East Coast, earning her degree from Villanova University. Tana takes March Madness quite seriously.

She graduated with a BA in Communication (concentration in Media Production), a double major in Spanish Language & Literature, and double minors in Peace & Justice and Latin American Studies. She currently works in marketing and communications, but outside of work, Tana pursues documentary media as a creative outlet, with projects in Brazil, the Philippines, and the U.S. that explore themes of identity with the goal of uplifting underrepresented voices. She hopes to build upon her experiences and deepen her understanding of the role communication and corporate communication throughout her time in the program.
