Welcome to CMCI

Congratulations—you’re in!
Each year, the admissions team at CU Boulder’s the College of Media, Communication and Information (CMCI) sees record numbers of applications representing increasingly stronger classes of prospective students. It’s clear from your impressive credentials that you’ve got what it takes to be a star at CMCI.
We’ve organized our various communication- and media-related disciplines under one college, and because of this our faculty and students collaborate in unexpected ways as they explore data-driven storytelling, applications for artificial intelligence and new perspectives in media creation.
That’s more important than ever in a world where the ways we create and share information are undergoing constant change. At CMCI, you’ll explore new avenues for creativity, learn to think critically about new opportunities, and set yourself up for an engaging and rewarding professional career.
I’m so excited to welcome you to Boulder and the CMCI community, and can’t wait to see how you use your talents and knowledge to make CU and the world a better place. Congratulations!
Warm regards,
Lori Bergen
