About CMCI

How do we make technology work for people?

As we usher in a new age of intelligent machines and connected services, there has been far more emphasis on creating the latest and greatest, and less time understanding how these innovations impact the ways we live, work, communicate and share. At the College of Media, Communication and Information, we encourage you to think critically about technology’s possibilities and limitations, and teach you to envision and create products and services that transform the world for the better.

Meet David LaPaglia

David
David wasn’t admitted to the business program at CU Boulder, but as someone who loves technology, he couldn’t be happier with his decision to major in information science instead.

"Computer science can be very theory based, but my classes are much more applicable to the kind of work I want to do. We’re doing things in modern programming languages and using cutting-edge technology. INFO has been such a great fit for me.
