CMCI is bringing a dozen students to the annual Broadcast Education Association/National Association of Broadcasters Convention in Las Vegas April 17-20, 2016.
Qualifications:
- Concurrent or previous enrollment in JRNL 4344/5344, 4562/5562, 4624/5624, 4674/5674, 4685/5685, 4874 or 5514;
- Graduates in Spring and Summer 2016 OR those entered in the BEA Festival of Media Arts or BEA research competition.
First-time attendees will get higher priority than those who have attended before.
CMCI will contribute up to $300 for each student's travel to defray transportation, registration and hotel costs; students are responsible for all costs over $300 and all food/drinks. Students will be notified of acceptance by February 20, 2016.
Applicants must fill out this form by Feb. 15, 2016 and email a letter of application (explaining your qualifications to attend and what you hope to get out of the event), a resume, and at least one letter of recommendation (professional reference preferred) to Kathleen Ryan.
