Visual Content Creator Position
About CIEST:
Successful applicants will join a multidisciplinary research team of engineers utilizing the broad testing capabilities of the Center for Infrastructure, Energy, and Space Testing (CIEST), which includes the Geotechnical Centrifuge, Structural Dynamics, and Materials Testing Laboratories. Under common management, CIEST makes its outstanding testing capabilities and research personnel available to academic, government, and industry users from a wide variety of engineering and earth science fields.
Position Description:
CIEST is looking for a motivated student to help create visual contents for the Center Website(https://www.colorado.edu/center/ciest/). We have an existing website which needs to be upgraded such as the front page, key contents, format, and accessibility. The role will play a core role in creating contents to present the center with updated information. Contents include but are not limited to photos, video clips, storytelling all coherently representing the current and future direction of the center. These contents will be formatted to comply with the existing Webexpress frame. Your brilliant and contemporary artistic design ideas will shine for the role. This position will work closely with Website designer as well as CIEST staff.
Applicants are desired to have previous experience in content creation but are not required.
Applicants, however, must have talent in taking photos, image creation, video clips, and editing.
Pay starts at $20/hr. Applicants should have availability up to 10 hours per week including F2F office hours at CIEST office at the Engineering Building (ECCE 1B60B). The target timeline for the job is 6 weeks.
