The person I want living down the hall from me is goal oriented, clean, driven, friendly, helpful, good spirited. In order to help me be a better person my neighbor should be goal oriented, to make me want to do better myself, while also being friendly and helpful if I have a problem. One of the most important parts of being an person is being driven and clean, because those can help you succeed in life where others have failed. And finally the person living down the hall from me is good spirited because life is not always what we plan it to be and we should be expecting changes no matter what.
I want to be a member of the Global Engineering RAP at CU because I want to experience the challenges faced by other countries firsthand to help engage in communal efforts to fix them. By experiencing what other people in different countries have to go through I can adapt my learning as an engineer, to help learn what I need to use as an engineer for other countries and backgrounds. As a person I know I have been limited to exposure of other countries problems and I want to get in to the RAP to experience more of the world around me, outside of the US. I plan to contribute past experience when working with people to help understand different problems around me in the Global Engineering Rap and to communicate with other students around me.
