Jackie is responsible for providing a variety of support services to IEC students, specifically immigration advising, admissions, enrollment, records/file creation and maintenance. He is a designated school official (DSO), responsible for issuing immigration documents for F-1 and J-1 visa holders and their dependents. Jackie works closely with the Office of Admissions to coordinate the matriculation process for ESL Academic Bridge Program students. In addition, he is responsible for compiling data on prospective, current, and former students. Prior to joining the IEC, Jackie worked as a program associate for International Student and Scholar Support at Dickinson College in Pennsylvania. He has a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, international studies, and Japanese, and a master's degree in international affairs from Pennsylvania State University. Jackie is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and proficient in Japanese. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and attending sporting events.
