Joanne Corson
Joanne brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for education, culture, and community. After six wonderful years co-managing CU Boulder's Department of Ethnic Studies, she now brings her talents and energy to The CAAAS.

Her journey is as inspiring as it is diverse: from working as an editor, writer, and designer in New York’s publishing world, to teaching English/language arts in K-12 schools in the U.S. and internationally—including a year at an International Baccalaureate school in Togo, West Africa. Joanne holds a master’s degree in educational psychology and a bachelor’s in journalism, and she continues to blend creativity and scholarship in everything she does.

Joanne is also a proud mother to a son from Togo, and together they cherish their travels back to Africa to visit family. When she’s not working, you might find her painting, writing poetry, or enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.

Please join me in giving Joanne a warm welcome to The CAAAS | The Cause! We’re so excited for the vision, creativity, and heart she brings to this role.
