2025 Juneteenth Events
In celebration of Juneteenth, the Center for African and African American Studies (CAAAS) is proud to co-sponsor a powerful three-day lecture and dialogue series titled “And We Are Still Not Saved: On Love, Freedom and Salvation” featuring Dr. Danielle Hodge.
The events will take place June 16–18, 2025, with daily sessions beginning at 3:00 PM. Hosted by CU Dialogues, the series will explore critical themes of liberation, justice, and healing through lecture and conversation.

This series is open to all CU and community members. Participants are invited to engage in meaningful conversations centered on Black freedom and resilience.
